Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

But this morning I find myself wondering about the incredible power or hold that our mind has

It can see and experience a situation in a completely different way than perhaps "reality" 

Along a similar thread or some tangential line:

The truest reflection can be found undistorted only when one is at complete peace 

When that water of our mind is still, says Thich Nhat Hanh

Only then can we reflect the exact lines of the mountains and trees that surround it

I think somehow, I feel as if I'm on a life raft or that I need one 

am I drowning in the makings of my own mind 

running myself in circles rather than what I have recently experienced as true 

a decision can set you free - 

free to invest fully.

free to build.

Here in this room, so much of life has indeed unfolded and this chapter 

in this year, so much more has and will unfold. 

May I find myself shining a light on the good that is.
